Cosmetic Stuff... Led Headlights

    Anyone here switched their ride to LED headlights? If so how does the light output compare?

    i've installed led tailights
    they are much brighter than the old 1157 bulbs

    since i have an antique car i've wired relays to give the headlites full voltage
    this makes them brighter also

    so are you asking about the halo lites with leds on the circumference of the light or
    actual full on led headlites?:blackalien:

    I'm considering full on led headlights.

    You answered another one of my questions before I asked it :) but its actually about my F250. The windows are tinted and on some nights like when its raining or foggy I have to roll down the windows when backing up to see well. The regular bulbs aren't bright enough. So I'll buy some leds for the tail lights.

    you might want to add some additional led spot/work lites that come on with reverse or dash switch when needed
    these are from ''northern tool'' this is my pricing on these..

    I think its worth doing. I plan to swap out to led headlights when my regular headlights get old and start to get dimmer.

    For headlights I can't think of any downside other than cost. Whiter light, longer life, lot less glare than hid lights and less heat than both hid and regular lights.

    When you consider LED headlights last longer there isn't a downside if you plan to keep the car or truck for tens of thousands of miles longer.

    Just be careful the LED lights you get are DOT approved, if you have any kind of inspection in your state.
