    new to the pro charger stuff, have a older D1 - oil feed NOT SC

    they seem to be a whole diffrent ball game then the new head units, i did a ton of googleing and looking all over and they pretty much only reference the d1SC
    so i have a few questions

    is the shaft size for the pulley the same as the SC?

    does anyone have a cad file or something that shows the mounting dimensions? i have a head unit and no bracket and they dont make one for the truck im going to run it on

    welcome to the site.
    @boostedbuick has one of the older D-1 units and just had it rebuilt;
    he may have the info you need,:blackalien:
    or you could try a search for the D-1 or boostedbuick on the site

    Answer to the first question is the SC pulleys will not work. Procharger has the pulleys and the D-1 has smaller pulleys available than the SC.

    I think if you call Procharger tech support they can hook you up with specs you need to build a bracket. When I did mine they were not available so it was a little tricky.

    My blower was 25 years old before a bearing went and the impeller touched the volute. Broke a blade off but everything else was fine. Supercharrebuilds.com did the rebuild for me. They cut down their custom F-1 impeller to fit and I gained about 15% flow improvement. About half the cost compared to Procharger.

    Need any help let me know.

    Awesome. Thank you!

    Got my brother to CAD me something so I think I got the bracket figured.

    Smaller d1 pulley as in shaft diameter or in pulley diameter?
    I'll have to hit them up. I dont have any shaft play but figure it would be a safe bet and the pictures of yours made me need it :p

    I think the D-1 shaft is bigger but you can get smaller diameter pulleys. I think you can go to 3". If you can go to a 12 rib system and the newer style tensioner. When I am designing brackets I build them in 1/2 or 3/4 inch MDF board. Much cheaper than doing it out of Aluminium.

    hmm good to know. ill have to do some googling about the pulleys and some measuring.

    yah, we are still in paper/cardboard mock ups haha

    any one know if it matters what side of the pully you place the spacer on? need it to take up shaft distance to tighten it down, not for alignment

    I do not use a spacer. Here is a picture of the blower side of pulley. IMG_20201126_100720.jpg #ad

    I have a small amount of play in mine when the bolts righted down. Can kinda see it here

    it looks like the bolt is bottoming out before the head gets to the spacer/washer.
    NO lock washer is used, mine is just like yours, but tight...

    option-1: i would shorten the bolt by 2-threads to prevent it bottoming out,
    then it could secure the pulley properly to the shaft as needed.

    option-2: is to use a grade-8 parallel ground washer like from ARP or another bolt maker.
    i suggest option-1 as the best choice.

    That looks totally wrong. How many ribs is your system? Hard to see from your photo, if you pull the bolt and washer off are the surfaces of the center flange and the outer rim flush? If so then that is the side that goes toward the blower. Procharger has a specific bolt to mount the pulley they send a bolt and washer with every pulley. I rarely disagree with Vince but I think you should get the bolt from Procharger.

    looking at the mounting flange again it does look like the pulley is installed backwards,
    verify the pulley is mounted correctly, and see if the bolt your results change...
    the stepped side of the washer does need to fit into a gap that allows for bolt length of supplied Procharger hardware.
    the offset between pulley flange and PC shaft end must be greater that the step on the washer for all of the items to fit correctly..o_O
    also the pulley diameter marking is on the side facing away from the supercharger;
    must be in same side as the bolt and washer...

    I just looked at a couple of pulleys, one is not marked at all, another has the diameter marking on the side facing the supercharger. They must have sold me seconds :arghh:

    it is the bolt and spacer(?) that came with the pulley, ill have to check and make sure its facing the right way. its a 6 rib pulley with the standard(?) offset to be used on a truck spaced LS serpentine system

    sorry on the late reply's, with the holidays and delay in parts. it got stuffed on the back burner
