I recently purchase a 1967 Chevelle with a 540 ci with a BDS 8-71 blower running 12 psi. It has a 12 gal fuel cell and a Magnafuel Quick Star 300 fuel pump, filter and regulator. The specs on the fuel pump says you can run it for 1 1/2 hours on the street. I would like to be able to run the car on the street for a few hours if possible, any suggestions on a different fuel pump that's race ready but still totally streetable. I am new to a Roots Blower set up and have much to learn.

Hi I’m running a Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump and a aeromotive boost referenced fuel pressure regulator
On a 496 bb with procharger works for me

Just some more info on the setups if it helps
Boost reference regulator needed...carbs Set to 6 or 6.5 psi at idle so It doesn’t over come the needle and seat reg will increase pressure 1 to 1 ...so 5 lbs boost will add 5 psi pressure and so on
Fuel pumps ....don’t suck very well so you want it lower than fuel cell .unless you go in tank pump.. a bigger fuel line from tank to pumps is a good idea too ..

I run a Weldon A1100, can be mounted above the tank, it is a puller not just a pusher. I have a stock tank with Robmc sending unit. 496 Procharged strictly a street car, so far so good for 10 years.
