    2000 mustang gt, 4.6 v8, vortech v2 supercharged. The air filter is leaking oil. Small puddle after driving it, i wanna know why it is doing this, im also curious as to why there is a hose running from the head to the inlet pipe. Why and what for? Really interested in the answers thanks for the help.

    well now: why there is a hose running from the head to the inlet pipe= i suspect it is for the pvc valve or crankcase breather
    this could be drawing oil/vapor from the crankcase blow by that can condense in the inlet tube when cooler air contacts it;
    this could be the oil leakage that you are noticing;
    or it could be that your air filter was over oiled when cleaned and has some leakage;
    or this is much worse = the oil seal on the supercharger is defective causing the leakage,
    unfortunately a small puddle after each drive sounds like a leaky seal:vomit:
    there was another thread about this awhile back with the leaking puddles on the vortech sc:blackalien:

    Head to inlet pipe is prolly the PCV. Normal for it to blow a little oil but if it's getting this much worn rings can also cause it. Do a compression test to rule it out.

    Either supercharger seals, pcv not setup right or ring blow by.
